[ Perplexing instructions, but the scent of Silco upon the written note makes it far easier to follow them β€” one of the reasons he had always enjoyed physical mediums, was that everyone left their soul's stain upon what they interacted with. And his nose, the monstrous thing that it was, could rip apart a scent to its atomic and metaphysical property to follow a trail right to the origin. ( Composing taunting missives to enemy generals that required a response due to the "rules" of engagement that Set, himself, flaunted and manipulated. Baiting rivals with scrolls of hearsay and lies and slander so that they might rip parchment to shred and leave themselves upon the scraps thrown to the winds. )

No, locating Silco is not impossible. He smells delicious, and oddly familiar β€” poison and oilslick, the rasp of a blade and the salt of his sweat buried below thousands of tons of earth and rubble and the wrath in the marrow of his bones. He brings the instructions with him, the soft scratch of paper being folded and scored crisply by the edge of a sharp, hooked talon heralding his arrival within the hour. ]

What do you think, partner of mine? As you know, my own goal is twofold: to locate and seize the means by which we can return to our homelands, and to utterly eliminate the naughty sect of Patho-Gen. I will not stand for their continued existence, and the threat they even potentially pose our worlds. That, and they annoy me.

[ He's pro-Augmented, after all. Even if he disparages some of them. :) ]

Certainly you recognize it? The method. It is just their ability to Call us, amplified by the Augmenter embedded within our bodies.

[ He'd come to that decision about what it was soon after the Karterian people had begun to overstep their boundaries, curiosity overtaking their sensibilities. They liked their beasts to be silent and complacent β€” would it be any wonder that the slow dehumanization of their Augmented would one day yield new beasts of burden and domestic fare? The same way he had long suspected the orchards and farmlands might be populated by old Terra-souled, only to find them clustered and fed upon below ground. It would be a decision he would make for his people, naturally. ]

I have been encouraging them to be concerned with "external threats". Once they begin the descent into viewing outsiders as dangers, I see no reason they cannot be coerced toward viewing their own as such. If Karteria will not free us here, nor allow us to go home unhindered and unweaponized... I imagine burning it all down a viable strategy.

[ Unlike some bleeding hearts, his world and its longevity, its sanctity and protection, will always come before another's own. He doesn't care how callous or monstrous that makes him appear to be. He is a god, and a Terra, and has long since seen civilizations rise and fall. He and his siblings had reset existence many a time β€” drowning humanity in floods, and recreating them anew. It's not a stretch for him to consider wiping out Karteria, if possible. ]

I came here to see where best you would like to apply our strategy next, Silco.
